PROGRAMMING

CitySpace is where arts, performance, and community converge in Easthampton Western Massachusetts in Old Town Hall. Through affordable venue access, artist-driven programs, and live events, we provide a stage and space for creativity to thrive. From local talent to touring artists, our programming brings performances to life, strengthens creative connections, and fuels opportunity in Hampshire, Hampden, and Franklin counties.

Investing in Artists. Expanding Access. Building Community.

Pay It Forward

CitySpace’s Pay It Forward program provides free performance/rehearsal space and professional development opportunities to artists in Hampden, Hampshire, and Franklin counties. By offering short-term residencies in the Blue Room—Easthampton’s 100-seat performance and community space—Pay It Forward helps low-to-moderate income artists bring their work to the public without the financial barriers of having to rent creative space.

Participants receive stipends, ticket sales, and access to artist-tailored workshops, peer-learning cohorts, and one-on-one coaching. Through this program, CitySpace fosters creative growth, strengthens artistic networks, and ensures that local artists have the space and resources they need to thrive.
